Built in 1553
Old Hall
Old Hall is a thatched Tudor manor house and was built in 1553 (for the curious, at that time Edward VI was King – he was the son of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour and Old Hall was once home to lady-in-waiting to Lady Jane Grey – queen for 9 days). Set in six acres, Old Hall is grade 2 listed and an enchanting Tudor property which was originally built by Baron Tilney after whom several local villages are named.
